How do I know if we’re a good fit?

I offer a free 15-minute phone consultation so we can talk through what you’re looking for and whether my style feels like the right match. This is also a chance to ask questions and get a sense of what it might be like to work together.

What can I expect from therapy?

Our work together starts by getting to know you: your story, your struggles, and what you want to get out of therapy. The first few sessions are focused on building a connection, identifying goals, and creating a plan that fits your life. Sessions are typically 45 minutes long. As you start feeling more confident and steady, we can talk about shifting to biweekly or monthly check-ins.

What types of issues do you specialize in?

I specialize in anxiety, OCD, emotion regulation difficulties, and perinatal/postpartum mental health. This includes things like intrusive thoughts, panic, postpartum rage or depression, and navigating identity shifts in motherhood. I also help people who are tired of their anxiety running the show and want practical tools to feel more in control.

How often will we meet?

Most clients start with weekly sessions so we can build momentum and address things as they come up. As you feel more grounded and in control, we can adjust the frequency based on your needs.

Do you take insurance?

I don’t work directly with insurance, but I’m considered an out-of-network provider. I can give you a monthly invoice (called a superbill) that you can submit for reimbursement. Every plan is different, so I recommend calling your insurance to ask about out-of-network mental health coverage and your deductible.

What’s your cancellation policy?

If you need to cancel, I ask for at least 48 hours' notice. Sessions cancelled with less than 48 hours' notice will be charged in full. If something comes up and you need to reschedule, I’ll do my best to find another time that week.
