Dr. Michelle Litwer, PhD.

Therapist

Hi there! I’m Dr. Litwer.

I’m a licensed psychologist offering in person therapy in Philadelphia and online therapy across Florida, New York, Pennsylvania, as well as 40 other PSYPACT states.

I specialize in working with teens (16+) and adults navigating anxiety, OCD, trauma, life transitions, emotion regulation difficulties and perinatal mental health. My approach draws from evidence-based treatments like CBT, DBT, ACT, and trauma-focused therapies. I’m especially passionate about supporting individuals through the challenges of pregnancy, postpartum, and parenthood.

I create a space where you can be honest, without judgment, and I don’t sugarcoat. Together, we start making sense of what you’re going through. Then we’ll sort through the noise, focus on what matters, and help you (re)build a life that fits.

Therapy with me is…

  • Comfortable

  • Practical, not preachy

  • Grounded in research

  • Action-oriented

  • Honest and relatable

Starting Therapy Together

1.

Every new client begins with a free consultation. It’s a chance to ask questions, share what you’re looking for, and see if we’re a good fit.

2.

If we decide to move forward, we’ll schedule an intake session. This 60-minute appointment gives us time to explore what’s bringing you in and lay the groundwork for therapy.

3.

Each session is personalized to your needs. Together, we’ll build insight, practice new skills, and work toward meaningful change.

“Working with Dr. Litwer has been amazing. She is kind, patient, and supportive.
